What Doesn’t Kill You to play at Vancouver International Film Festival

What Doesn’t Kill You continues it’s festival run in Vancouver on Oct 2nd (8:30 pm – International Village #9) and Oct 10th (12:00 pm –
Vancity Theatre) at the Vancouver International Film Festival.

The short will be playing as part of the Emergency/Response short film programme – which is pretty much the perfect package for it to inhabit.

Our short film What Doesn’t Kill You premiered this week at the Toronto International Film Festival to a fantastic reception.
And the reviews have been amazing so far: What Doesn’t Kill You packs a massive punch.” – Film Threat, “An Edge Of Your Seat Short” – ThreeIfBySpace, “an intense horror short that makes you wish it lasted longer” – horror-movies.ca.

The short played as part of SHORT CUTS CANADA PROGRAMME 4 and it was a pleasure to play along side so many amazing films.

Beef Barley Brothers screening at Filmpool Members Showcase Screening

If you are in Regina, Saskatchewan this Sunday (Feb. 17th), come by the Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative to catch Beef Barley Brothers at the Filmpool Members Showcase Screening.

The screening will feature five short films by Filmpool members Nora Gardner, Callen Diederichs, Luke Annand, rjamesmisfeldt and myself.

Show starts at 6 pm and I`ll be in attendance.

This just in!

Beef Barley Brothers is going to in India.
Specifically, the Jaipur International  Film Festival will be screening our short twice – on January 31st, 2013 at 11 am and on February 2nd, 2013 at 10 am.

Beef Barley Brothers in Wisconsin

The Weyauwega International Film Festival is the next stop for Beef Barley Brothers!

You can catch the screening at the George Gerold Opera House on November 9th at 5:30pm in Weyauwega, Wisconsin.

Thanks to all the good people at Weyauwega International Film Festival for putting on this event.

 

When I can, I like to showcase the other films in the package we will be screening with, but this time my mind was blown!

Beef Barley Brothers will be screening along side a short film written by Neil LaBute and directed by Nathaniel Krause about their own homeless guy and regular guy.
Will they be best friends? Only time will tell.

Beef Barley Brothers European Premiere at the Ionian International Digital Film Festival

Great news!

Beef Barley Brothers will take it’s European bow in Greece on Monday September 17, 2012 at the Ionian International Digital Film Festival.

You can catch the screening at 1:20 pm at the Cine Apollon in the heart of Lefkada, Greece.

Beef Barley Brothers at the Minneapolis Underground Film Festival

The Minneapolis Underground Film Festival has just announced their 2012 lineup of films and I am honoured to have had Beef Barley Brothers selected to screen at the festival!

If you are in Minneapolis on Friday, August 17th, you can catch Beef Barley Brothers in the shorts program at 4:30 pm at the St. Anthony Main Theatre. Oh, and as an extra incentive, admission to this program is free!

Beef Barley Brothers Screening at the Snake Alley Festival of Film

Beef Barley Brothers will be screening this June in Burlington, Iowa at the Snake Alley Festival of Film!

It will screen during Block 2 of the Friday shorts program at the Capital Theatre in Burlington on June 8th at 4pm.

Thank you to Lonnie Schuyler and all the wonderful people at the Snake Alley Festival of Film for the opportunity to take part in the festival!

*UPDATE* I forgot to mention there are also Wiener Dog Races! This festival is the best!!

Beef Barley Brothers is Screening at the Sunscreen Film Festival

Beef Barley Brothers has been selected to screen in the Sunscreen Film Festival!

You can check it out at the Muvico Baywalk 20 and IMAX theatre in St. Petersburg, Florida on Friday April 20th at 3:30pm in the Comedic Shorts block.

Beef Barley Brothers World Premiere – Boomtown Film & Music Festival

The world premiere of Beef Barley Brothers has been announced!
Everyone will be able to get your first look at the short film during the Boomtown Film & Music Festival in Beaumont, Texas.
Beef Barley Brothers will screen on Feb 24th at 7pm in the Dishman Art Museum and again on Feb 25th at 3pm.

Thanks to everyone at the Boomtown Film & Music Festival for the opportunity to be a part of the festival!
I regret that I can`t attend but it looks like it is going to be an awesome festival and I hope that everyone who can attend does (and let me know how the screening goes)!
